Isabella Timmons Obituary
She was born on July 19, 1943, in Montgomery, Ala.
Isabella was a member of Victory Christian Church, where she was a Mother of the Church. She loved fishing, cooking, doing puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Willie Timmons, Joe Timmons, Bo Timmons; sisters, Elizabeth Hardy, Annie Mae Toll, Ruby Blake and Bessie Mae Harris; and grandson, Daiquille Henderson.
To cherish her memory, she leaves, her lifetime companion and father of her children, Merrell Poston; her children, Kenneth Henderson (Nicole), Frances Henderson, Montgomery, Ala., Mujahid Muhammad Ibn Timun, Kathrine Phillips (Daryl), Michael Henderson, Alexandrina Timmons, Merrell Timmons (Uneika), Marcus Poston and Quinton Akins, all of Erie, Pa.; three sisters, Katie Timmons, Montgomery, Ala., Daisy Johnson (Albert) and Rosie Timmons, Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Willie J. Timmons (Ernestine) and Willie Timmons (Debbie), Buffalo, N.Y.; 32 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her lifelong friends, Rev. Marie McRae, Mrs. Betty Jean Jones and Mrs. Mary Hall Moore; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Word of Life Christian Center, 660 Hess Avenue, Erie, Pa., and may attend the homegoing service at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Dwane Brock, eulogizing. Arrangements are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home.

Until this day, I never realized how much through memory I would continue to have this deep wound within me for you not being here! Life ha been hectic for me. But with God by my side, I have learned to overcome many obstacles that have plagued my life and have been able to move on and through life. I miss you very dearly and I wish I could've spent more time with you when you were here as oppposed to the time that I spend each day that you're not here. no one will ever know the pain that I continue to go through in life without you being here and no one will understand now that you are gone the emptiness that I carry in my heart without you being present in my life will always give me the strength to live the life that you gave me to live to the fullest and in memory of you and being truely grateful to God for my continued presence on this Earth each and every day! Goodbye, mother......And until we are united, again, I miss you with every beat of my heart!
