James Shaw Obituary
Jamie graduated from McDowell High School class of 1982 and attended Penn State Behrend University. He owned and operated Burns-Shaw Appliance Services for over 30 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 470. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing golf. He was an avid boater and he was the Captain of his Ship. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Rebecca (Pustelak) Shaw; his mother, Jeanette M. Shaw; a sister, Natalie Bishop her husband Gary; a niece, Erica Bishop and a nephew, Owen Bishop; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends survive.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

I just found out that Jamie has passed. He was the one my family and I called at Burns and Shaw. A great guy.

Natalie and Jeannie and family. I am so sorry to hear about Jamie. He was at my home twice this year to fix my refrigerator. He introduced himself as your brother. So nice and kind. He was here the day after Ken died and was so sympathetic. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Jamie was one of my best friends during high school and after college. He was always a joy to be around and was so kind to all. It has been a while since i have seen Jamie but my parents had just seen him days before. He will be missed greatly and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

Jamie was truly a person who loved life; it was obvious in his easy laugh and contagious smile. Such a gentle soul, he will surely be missed by all who knew him. I will miss his "visits" to the house - while his main purpose was to either fix the washer or dryer, we would always end up chatting about life, and I tend to think he enjoyed that part of his job more than the actual work. He definitely loved being around people, and we were certainly lucky to have known him.
May God somehow ease your sorrow with the passage of time, and know that we will keep Jamie and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
