I was one of John´s childhood friends in Erie PA. I was curious as to what he was doing and was sad to find that he had passed away. I attended St. Peter Cathedral Center school with him. May he rest in peace and may every time anyone thinks of John be a blessing.

My sympathy to John's wife , children, father and siblings. I remember him as a young boy on West 9th St. Many years later he honored me by remembering me when he was working at Hamot Hospital. He had grown into a fine young man and we had many interesting conversations together. My prayers for all during your sorrowful time.

John and Wendy divided our lives into before and after. We have known them for 5 short years and think of them each as heroes and inadvertent teachers. Seeing them live their faith in a way that few others exemplify has been a true inspiration to us. One we will never forget and are better for. Through grace and the Spirit and conscious determination, we have no doubt that Wendy will continue the work that she and John have begun in the lives of their five children. We weep for John's passing and don't understand why this happened. But we also rejoice and feel very fortunate to know John and are humbled by the amount of people he touched in such positive ways in his short 56 years. Randy and I being just two of them. He will always be in our hearts. So hard to process his passing.

To Wendy and all who love her

I did not know John; only met him once, at a lecture event. But I know Wendy; and I saw the manifestation of John in his beautiful wife. Wendy exemplified everything that John is: faithful, kind, generous, loving, dedicated, and always determined to be the highest possible example of Faith to his family, his community, and most of all, to Wendy. To look at Wendy is to see the love of John. To look at Wendy & John is to see the presence of Christ. I will be forever grateful for the heroic example of love & Faith that is John & Wendy.

Love Eternal!
