Rindosh family...I am a volunteer at the V.A. Hospital and am in the pet therapy program. Our 10 lb, 2 1/2 year old Schnauzer named 'Rudy' was Mr Rindosh's favorite. Rudy would curl up on the bed with him right at his chest and Mr Rindosh would pet him and smile just looking at Rudy's little face. We were there two weeks ago today and Mr Rindosh was sleeping but our staff person felt it was important enough for her to wake him up so he would not miss Rudy's visit. He was Rudy's favorite person because he was so calm and quiet. I just wanted to extend my sympathies to his family and let you know how much we enjoyed those visits. He will be missed....

Dear Helen and family,

We always enjoyed chatting with Jack at the Elks Lodge and trying -- with rare success -- to take a fish game from him. One quiet day, he opened up about his war days -- a fascinating story. We will miss him.

Jack was a true gentleman and always had some interesting stories to share with us. We are sure if there are "fish bowl" tickets in heaven that Jack is winning them the the same way he did at the Elk's Lodge which he enjoyed visiting almost every day with Helen. He enjoyed those visits so much and everyone enjoyed seeing him. He will be missed by everyone and our sincere condolences to Helen and the family.

My deepest condolences to Helen and the entire family. Being a Elk I have spent many good times with Jack and Helen, as they came to the Lodge almost daily for dinner. It was just pure pleasure to spend time with them. Jack will be greatly missed by all. But in our hearts forever. " To Our Absent Members"

Our sympathy to Helen and all of the Rindosh family.
My Wife and I have only known "Mr. Jack " and Helen for about a year, meeting them at the Elks Lodge.
I often sat and talked with "Mr. Jack" as he sipped his Black Velvet and peeled his fish bowl tabs.
He taught me a lot about the Lodge and the various members.
I Visited with him often while he was in the VA hospital, the last being Wed. Sept. 3rd. I will miss him dearly as will all that knew this great man

This man was truely one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I first met him while working at the Erie Elks lodge...and we became friends. I will always remember our conversations, especially his story of his jumping out of an airplane. Helen and he, will always be two of my favorite people and he will be sadly missed at the lodge... "To our absent members!"
God bless you.
