Joseph Murosky Obituary

Joseph Robert Murosky, 84, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away April 7, 2012. He was born July 18, 1927 in Erie, Pa. Joseph graduated from Tech High School in 1945 and joined the Navy and was stationed on the USS North Carolina (BB55) and received his honorable discharge in 1946. He married Joanne Dylewski July 1, 1950 and was employed at Erie Forge and Steel for 42 years as a machinist and inspector and retired in 1988. He moved to Arizona to enjoy his retirement with his family. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Joanne of 62 years; children, Barbara, Robert, Mark and Anthony; grandchildren, Julie, Steve, Mike and his wife Espy, Nick and his wife Kate, Joe and his wife Veronica, Scott and Missy; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Tyler, Laila, Gisel, Scott, Adrian, Stephen, Amarya, Kaiden, Isiah and Robert. He loved the Cleveland Browns, baseball, bowling, birds, going camping, ice cold beer, reading, crossword puzzles, mom's homemade meatballs and enjoying watching his grandkids and great-grandkids. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. with funeral mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, St. James Catholic Church, 19640 N. 35th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85308.
