Mr. Larry Behan was a teacher of mine at Strong Vincent High School my junior and senior years (1985-1987). I was saddened & disappointed when I heard of his passing, so many students will go through their schooling without the benefit of such an exceptional teacher.

To all who knew him and those who did not, I would like to say... "LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH" he did and will be remembered by all who knew him because of it. With deepest sympathy.

Mr. Behan was the best teacher I had at Strong Vincent, he loved being a teacher and that reflected onto his students. His love for what he did made me and many other students want to attend his class. He was a teacher I looked forward to seeing, he always had a smile on his face that put everyone at ease. He will be sadly missed by many including myself. Thank you so much Mr. Behan for making school fun!

My husband and I are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Behan was one of my favoite teachers in high school and we were sad when he left and went to Strong Vincent. I was lucky enough to see him occasionally at the Maennerchor Club where my husband Joe had the priviledge of getting to know him too. He was the epitomy of human kindness and we will always remember him for his bright and smiling face. God graced us with his presence for too short a time, but we are eternally grateful for having the privilege of knowing him at all. God Bless and help you in your time of sorrow.

Sincerly,

Dana and Joe

Dear JoAnn and Family:

I was sad to hear of Larry's death.

He was a fun classmate and friend. I always looked forward to his humor and charm at Prep reunions. I can picture him now reciting, if not singing, all the words from the R&R songs of the 50's to the Heavenly Host.

Dear Josie and family

All of the Chicago Cooney's send their deepest sympathy. Over the years one of the highlights of my visits back home was to stop at "the company" to see Larry and Hiram. He will be missed by all of us who sought him out for an encouraging word and his upbeat attitude about life and family.
