Lisa Victor Obituary
She was born on September 3, 1958, in Erie, Pa., to Frank W. Zurn and Susan Frying Zurn (Hays).
She attended the Erie Day School, then went on to boarding school at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Conn. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology. She married Michael T. Victor in 1988. They had two children, Courtney and Sloane.
Lisa was an accomplished equestrian and enjoyed reading, playing tennis, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Courtney Victor Russ (Colin Russ) and Sloane Victor, and her two grandchildren, Reagan Russ and Sawyer Russ. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan and George Hays of Mentor, Ohio, and her father and stepmother, Frank and Jane Zurn of Erie, Pa., as well as her siblings, Karen Zurn, Peter Zurn (Susan Zurn), and Heidi Williams (Gleck Williams) of Erie, and Doug Zurn (Kerry Zurn) of Marble Head, Mass., and her stepsiblings, Peter Berner-Hays (Amy Hays) of Seattle, Wash., Carrie Hays (Bernie Peacock) of Yountvile, Calif., and Will Hays of Port Clinton, Ohio.
Services were private, at the family's convenience.
Arrangements are being handled by Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street.

Deepest sympathies to all of you. Last time I spoke with Lisa, she was so excited about her grandchildren. I enjoyed catching up with her and was inspired by her attitude toward her health issues. She was very positive and upbeat. She is with the Lord now, and will be with you in spirit forever. Rest in peace to a beautiful woman.

Dear Zurn Family,
I will always remember the fun that Lisa and I had at the Wolf Road barn with our horses...especially riding her beautiful mare named Lisa's Autumn Days. We had a great friendship growing up, and enjoyed many hilarious times together. Lisa is a lovely person and will be missed by all of us whose lives she touched.

Sometimes life's questions are only answered in one's own heart. I will remember Lisa in her prime when she always kept me on my toes. I learned several things from Lisa and will cherish those lessons. I know for a fact she loved her daughters very much. And was so proud of them both. I too share in that love. Having had Courtney and Sloane in my life sense their birth I feel as if they are my own daughters and will love and be there form them whenever and however I can.
