When Mary Ellen attended your AAUW study group, you knew she would share valuable information on the scheduled topic, and you were also happy to see her and be a small part of her life.

M.E as I called her was one of my closest friends over the years. We talked on the phone and played golf whenever I came to Erie. I will truly miss her. May God give her peace,

Mary Ellen was my opera buddy and special friend. I will miss our many treks to Pittsburgh each year to see the operas and our many holiday dinners together at the Riverside and the Peak. This past Christmas was especially fun at the Peak and then going to see Les Mis. We always had a great time together laughing and talking and trying to solve the world's problems. I will really miss her. My life is better because she touched it.

Mary Ellen was a special friend. She called me a few days ago to start another stimulating discussion. We had many. I will miss her intelligent opinions and I will miss her.
