Matthew Goldsby Obituary
He was born in Erie on September 10, 1975, the son of Wilma Bentley Goldsby and the late Wilbur Goldsby.
Matt was a 1994 graduate of Harbor Creek High School where he had played softball. He had been a dedicated and longtime employee of the Edinboro Walmart. Matt was an avid softball player and participated in the Edinboro and Erie Softball Leagues. He enjoyed bowling, video games and was a member of the East Erie and Albion Moose Lodges.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Reba.
Besides his mother, survivors include his beloved wife of 22 years, Debra Nichols Goldsby; three stepchildren, Andrew Brown (Christy), Koren Budurka (Michael Jr.) and Cody Brown (Lindsey); one sister, Pamela Dennin (Gary); two brothers, Eugene Goldsby and Michael Goldsby; two grandchildren, Jaden and Sophia Budurka; two stepgrandchildren, Jordan and Bailey Bloeser; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Adrion, Layloni and Adaliyah; four nephews, TJ Denning, Scott Denning and twins, Jared and Kevin Denning; and several nieces and cousins.
No calling hours or services will be observed. Private interment will take place at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to the family or to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road.
