Naomi Pieri Obituary
She was born in Erie, on March 22, 1935, a daughter of the late George and Iris (Post) Helwig.
Patt was a dedicated homemaker, mother and wife, taking care of her family was her biggest joy. She loved to cook and was well known for her excellent baking. She also enjoyed bowling, doing crafts, knitting and gardening. Her life was marked by her unbounded love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and friends, and exceptional generosity. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She worked at the Blessed Sacrament Rectory as a cook for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pierino A. Pieri in 1976, whom she married September 16, 1955 in Ripley, N.Y.; also by two daughters, Mary and Maria Pieri; a sister, June Gilbo and a brother, Gerald Helwig.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janice E. Dovichow (Steve) and Patricia D. Bebell (Paul); two sons, Richard L. Pieri (Heidi) and Pierino Pieri Jr. (Lisa); a sister, Sandra Cross (Tim); granddaughters, Jenna Pieri, Lindsay Pieri, Katie Fulcher, Stevie Dovichow, Ashley Griffith, and Sayde Bebell; her grandson, Thomas Andrzejczak; her very dear cousin, Mary Lou Calabrese (Pete); twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends called on Tuesday at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main Street East, Girard, where a memorial service was held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patt Pieri memorial fund c/o Edder Funeral Home.

To all of my nieces & nephews,praying for your peace & Comfort.No words can express how deeply your mom's love & presence will be missed.She enriched all of our lives in so many many ways. Her love of our family will forever be etched in each & every one of our hearts.We have all been so blessed to have had her in our lives.(on loan from God.) What an amazing legacy she has left for us all. The wonderful memories & there were oh so many, will remain with us all until our last breath.

Words are inadequate to express the loss I feel. Mom's example of Christ, her unconditional love, boundless generosity, her support no matter what, her gentleness and kindness helped shape me and enriched my life daily! I miss her so, so much! I am so very sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. There truly are no words to describe the loving, caring person your Mom was. She leaves behind so many wonderful memories that belong to us all forever. The smell of sauces, seafood and pizzelles at Christmas, the macaroni salad made with shells that was out of this world at all of our family picnics either at Grandma and Grandpas house or at Whitford park, The ravioli production line in your basement, and all of that pig latin spoke between your mom and my mom all for the sake of keeping us kids confused. It was your Mom and Dad that was there when my Mom and I needed a home....These are just a very few things that have been left for me by your mom, and please know that I feel very honored and blessed to have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Noni. Please know that you are all in my heart and prayers today and always.
