Paul Allegretto Obituary
Paul Allegretto, age 85, of Harborcreek, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born in Erie on September 20, 1929, son of the late Donato and Vincenza Allegretto.
Paul was a Master Carpenter, retiring from Gannon University maintenance department in 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in the Korean Conflict. Paul was a member of St. James R.C. Church, American Legion Carl Neff Post 571, the Siebenburger Club, and Lawrence Park Athletic Club. He loved the outdoors and fishing. Paul enjoyed life and being able to make people laugh. He pursued that passion as a professional clown with the Jolly Jesters.
Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Theresa Nakosoki Allegretto; one son, Daniel Allegretto (Annette); one sister, Mary DiSanti; two brothers, Michael (Carrie), Neil (Marilyn); four grandchildren, Jessica Nowacinski (Michael), Nicole Pring (Mark), Francesca and Victoria Allegretto; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Mason, Liam and one soon to be born. He was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Allegretto.
Friends may call at Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Road, on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James R.C. Church at noon. Carl Neff Post #571 will conduct a service following the Mass. A private interment will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie V.A. Medical Center Activities Dept., 135 E. 38th St., Erie, PA 16504.

I wish we could have made it up. Please accept our thoughts for Aunt Theresa, Danny, the girls and the whole Nakoski Clan today. The first time I met him and Aunt Theresa he had the ability to put me at ease and I am thankful for the love. He will be missed greatly.

Paul was a great neighbor and a wonderful person! We always looked forward to seeing and chatting with him in the back yard during the spring and summer months. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his entire family. God Bless. He will be missed!
