Dear Phil and Family!

I am sorry for the loss of your Father and Grandfather and my Uncle Ray. I will never forget the Railway Express truck pulling up to our house every Christmas filled with huge boxes of the latest Marx Toys. I wished I had saved some. He was a wonderful brother to my Mother Eva.

Dear Family of Ray Lohr,

Peter sent Peggy and I the notice about your Father. I'm not sure if we've ever met but I do recall hearing the tales of adventure and hilarity on those sailing trips our Dad took with your Dad and Dr Kemble and Mr Robbins. That was neat of you to write of it in your Father's obit. He would definitely like it. Our hearts go out to you. It never makes sense to have to do without the actual presence of those we know and love. Thank goodness we're all blessed with the great legacies left behind by all our parents. Natala Reyburn Goodman, Nat's youngest daughter (p.s. if you don't hear directly from my sister, it's because she doesn't use the computer very much. She also enjoyed the stories and friendship around your Dad)

Philip - many times I crossed Lake Erie on the good ship Caprice with a crew that defied description. How fortunate I was to have been invited to sail with them. Your dad was as fine as they come and always ready to spin a tale about what he knew or had read about Long Point, the Marx Company, various points of history or what you were up to.

Doc Kemble is at work putting that crew back together.
