Rita is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and good neighbors, with whom she became lifelong friends. Friends may call on Thursday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, Pa. 16502 from 2-4 and 7-9 and also on Friday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11. To the entire Kalivoda family, you have my sympathy in the loss of Rita. She was a big part of our family since Mike & Dan are both brother-in-laws. Rita was a kind, giving person who really valued "the family unit". She brought up four great sons and can be proud of each one. I'm lucky to have both Dan & Mike as brother-in-laws. Thank God she's no longer suffering and has found peace. My sincere sympathy to all of you.

Dear Kalivoda Family,
We will all miss her dearly, and I was glad I got to sit and talk with her this past Memorial day at Mike and Diane's. Rita was a 'memory maker', and I have that fun last memory of her, lively conversation over a good holiday meal. God bless all of you.

We just want you to know that we will be there for Bob anytime, day or night. Rita was a wonderful lady. Next spring when I plant my flowers on my driveway side, I will think of her! She always asked me every year if I planted them for her! We are truly going to miss her. Your entire family is in our prayers. I'm sure my Gram was there waiting for her!
