Kristen, Amy, and all of Bob's family please know I am profoundly sorry for your loss. To say that Bob & Marge were very good friends for years is an understatement. Bob & I first met in 1946, first grade at St. Ursula in Allison Park, PA. We shared many many boy-hood adventures growing up together. He was a kind hearted man, who combined brilliance with humor. I already miss my friend. He loved you girls deeply. Hope and faith sustains our belief that we will meet again as Jesus promised.

My condolences to Bob's family. Bob was on my staff at Model Cities as a Program Evaluator in the 1970's. Bob was always thoughtful with a thought and a humorous anecdote to share. Model Cities was a unique work experience where we all were like an extended family. After I left the City for an administrator position of the Stairways' County Drug program, I was asked and referred and recommended Bob for a position with Stairways where he ultimately succeeded as Executive Director. Rest in peace Bob. Best wishes for his family.

I remember Bob fondly from his days at Stairways when I worked at Family Crisis. He was always ready for a good conversation about anything and truly listened. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead.

I will always have fond memories of "little" talks that I had with Bob when I worked with him at Stairways. He loved to talk to people, to find out what was important to them and to learn from them. He also shared his own thoughts and opinions.
We shared a love of reading and of learning and he was always interested to know what we would use from conferences and training.
He also had such a sweet tooth and I remember letting him know that he was welcome anytime to enjoy the candy in the jar I kept on my desk when we both worked in the same building. I don't know if he ever took me up on that offer but I know it pleased him just the same.
Stairways would not be what it is today without him in the helm all those years ago. He had wisdom and the ability to listen to those around him as well as a cheerful and optimistic personality. He cared a great deal about the clients that we worked with and wanted the best for them. He was always wanting to go that next level and to figure out how to better serve them as well as the community around him.
I have great memories of talking with him and laughing at various social events for he knew how to enjoy life and how to make it enjoyable for those around him.
He will be very much missed.

You have my sympathies.
I have known Bob for about 40 years. I considered myself fortunate to be friends with Bob.
Bob always tried to 'figure things of the world out'. We had many conversations and I will miss having them again.
Now Bob has all the answers.
Rest in Peace my friend.

I offer my deepest sympathy and am praying for your family during this time of grief. Bob was a great man who personified what it truly means to serve others and he did so with grace and dignity. I had the great fortune of coming into contact with him when I worked with the mentally ill homeless and he was always so helpful and knowledgeable. I also had the pleasure of sharing a cab with Bob when we were in Harrisburg for Governor Ridge's inauguration and he shared a wealth of political views! Bob was indeed a man of all seasons who will be missed. May your memories bring comfort as you celebrate a life well lived. Rest in peace my friend. Vaya Con Dios!
