Robert L. Iddings

Robert L. Iddings Devoted Husband, Father and Grandpa Girard--Robert L. Iddings, 72, formerly of 5414 Millfair Rd., Fairview, Pa., died Friday, December 31, 2004, at Hamot Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1932, in Bradford, Pa., a son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Howe Iddings. He was a graduate of Bradford High School and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had been employed for 28 years in customer service with US Airways. Mr. Iddings was a member of Weis Library United Methodist Church and a former member of the Seibenberger Club. He was a devoted grandpa and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Nelson Iddings in 2000, and a brother, George Iddings. He is survived by a son, Robert R. Iddings and his wife Julie of Girard; a daughter, Marcia Snyder and her husband Thomas of Lake City; two grandchildren, David and Katherine Snyder; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 until the time of service at 8 pm. with Rev. Dr. Russell Hixson officiating. Burial will be in Weis Library Cemetery.
