Thomas Cyparski Obituary
Thomas E. "Tom" Cyparski, Sr., age 71, of Harborcreek Township, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness. He was born in Erie on February 22, 1943, the son of the the late Edward and Ann Tomczak Cyparski.
Tom had worked for the former TJ Manufacturing for several years. Most recently, he worked for Valu Home Center in Harborcreek. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He most enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Cyparski, and brother-in-law, Donald Kitchener.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Helen Wozniak Cyparski; his children, Denise Griffin (Dennis) of Findley Lake, N.Y., John Heeter, William Cyparski, Tommy Cyparski, Jeanette Cyparski, all of Erie, and David Cyparski of Denver, Colo.; twelve granddaughters, three great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and two sisters, Margaret Kitchener of Erie and Patricia Prindle (Don) of North East. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 4 p.m., conducted by Rev. James McCormick. To send condolences, visit www.dusckasfuneralhome.com.
