Carolyn Jean Robertson Allen

ERWIN - Carolyn Jean Robertson Allen, 89, of Erwin passed away at Christian Care Center of Unicoi on Wednesday November 5th, 2025. She was born to the late John and Jessie Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Douglas Allen; long time partner, Leonard Foster; and two daughters, Lynn Bagby and Robin Strickland; Carolyn was also the last of her siblings.

Carolyn was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of Ninth Street Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed having her family close by and cooking for them every chance she had. She had worked as a trustee at the Unicoi county courthouse for many years. She enjoyed quilting when she was able.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Phil Allen; three grandchildren, Joe, Jill, and Carla; four great grandchildren, Josie, Caira, Londyn, and Nolan; numerous great great grandchildren; as well as several other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Christian Care Center for their loving care during her time with them.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday November 13th, 2025 at 1 pm at Evergreen Cemetery. Those that would like to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 pm.
