ERWIN - Victoria Patterson (Guinn) Smith, age 66, of Erwin, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 1, 2025. A native of Erwin, Victoria was the youngest daughter of the late Raymond Winston and Jane (Logan) Guinn. She was a member of Erwin Presbyterian Church. Victoria was a member of the Timeless Tappers and she volunteered at Christian Care Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Smith.
Victoria Patterson (Guinn) Smith has left behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Rachel Jane Buckles Craft, and Jessica Buckles Kelley (Robert); granddaughters, Nora Kelley and Lydia Kelley; brother, Craig Chapman Guinn (Pam); sister, Susan Guinn Chaffin (Spud); and several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Phil Moldovan.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Victoria Patterson (Guinn) Smith in a memorial service to be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Betty Stevens, Erwin Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Eulogies will be provided by family members. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday and will continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home.
