NAZARETH Charles Henry Seibold, 86, of Nazareth, PA, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021 at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, PA, with his loving family by his side. Born on June 24, 1935 in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Charles H., Jr. and Emily Thompson Seibold. Charles was a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. He graduated from New York Maritime Academy, which now is "SUNY" Maritime. He received his MBA from Lehigh University. He served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960. After his service, he worked for Newport News Ship Building where he was involved in the building of the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier, The Enterprise. Charles then moved to the Lehigh Valley and worked the remainder of his career for Ingersoll-Rand. Charles was an avid golfer, playing in the Ingersoll-Rand league. He also was an avid gardener and reader. Charles was a longtime supporter of the Notre Dame High School Booster Club and volunteered with the scholarship committee. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Murphy Seibold; his beloved children, Jean McGill, D.D.S. and her husband, Kerry of Palmer Twp., PA, William Seibold and his wife, Marion of Darien, Ct., Thomas Seibold and his wife, Gina of Palmer Twp., PA, Elizabeth Seibold of New York, and Michael Seibold and his wife, Kristen of Hopewell Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Blake, Reagan, Mariana, Liam, Dominic, Kathryn, Madeleine, Mia, Owen and Gavin. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 2P.M. to 4P.M. and 6P.M. to 8P.M. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 10:30A.M. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp., PA. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jane's Building Fund.
