Harold W. 'Hal' Keller Jr. NAZARETH Harold W. "Hal" Keller, Jr., 79, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. Born on the family farm in Lower Nazareth Township, he was a son of the late Harold W. Sr. and Mary (Snyder) Keller. Upon graduating from Nazareth High School in 1960, he enlisted and honorably served in the United States Air Force. Hal was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation where he worked for more than 30 years in the beam yard, before retiring in 1998. After retiring, he worked part-time at the VFW, Mahorsky Pest Control, and Bajan's Market, all of Nazareth. Hal was a member of numerous social clubs, including the Order of Fleas in Easton, East Lawn Vol. Fire Co., Vigilance Hose Co. #1, and both the Nazareth VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed the game of golf and was known for his mechanical and handyman talents. Survivors: Hal will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Michael Keller of Moore Township, and Melissa Schuch and fiance, Jermaine Robinson, of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Zachary, Travis, Isaiah, and Natalia; former wife, Phyllis J. (Temos) Hyndshaw; a brother, Ernest Keller and wife, Doris, of Lower Nazareth Township; three sisters, Claire Hahn of Colorado, Harriet Boehmer, and Joanne Creyer and husband, Richard, both of Bethlehem; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Paul, Charles, William and Lester Keller; two sisters, Laura Coffield and Marion Smith; a nephew, Tony Keller; and a great-nephew, Scott Broutin. Services: Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a graveside service with Military Honors on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. There will be no calling hours.
