Jean E. Callie BANGOR Jean E. Callie, 93 of Bangor passed away Sunday July 18 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem Pa. Jean was born in Allentown Pa, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anne (Reinhart) Trach. Her beloved husband for 35 years Samuel F Callie passed away in 1987. Jean graduated from Stroudsburg High School and Mansfield State College. She was a Home Economics Teacher for Bangor Area School District for 19 years retiring in 1989. She also was an Advisor for F.H.A., Cheerleader Squad Coach and Cafeteria manager. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Johnsonville, the P.A.S.R., the P.S.E.A. and Bangor's Women's club. She enjoyed, sewing, gardening, reading, cooking and volunteering at Crayola Crayons in Easton. She was an avid Phillies fan and loved to watch old game shows. She is survived by a son Samuel T. and his wife Renee of Bangor, a grandson Christopher T. Callie of Bangor, Cousin Marcia Trach, nieces; Patricia Zimdahl, Lynn Callie and Gretchen Reisenwitz (husband) Mark. She was predeceased by an infant daughter Mary Ann. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 27, at 11 am at the East Bangor Cemetery with Rev. Michael Scholtes officiating. There will be no calling hours.
