STOCKERTOWN Jerry Dale Dech, 65, of Stockertown, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital – Anderson Campus, of Easton. He was the former husband of Linda M. (Kukor) Dech. Born on February 7, 1956 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald D. and Shirley L. (Kline) Dech. Jerry graduated from Easton High School Class of 1974. He was an iron worker for Local 36. Most recently, he worked for Martin Guitar & Co., of Nazareth for eleven years. Jerry loved sports and was a devoted Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved his family. In addition to Linda, Jerry is survived by children, Stephanie Dech and fiance Corey White, of Nazareth, Shaun Dech, of Stockertown, and Tara (Dech) Diefenderfer and companion Elmer Kennedy III, of Northampton; grandchildren, Michael, Skye, Breanna, Christian, and Gabrielle; great-grandson, Brantley; brother, Terry Dech, of Easton; sister, Sherry Manz and her husband Mike, of Lebanon; also by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Family and friends of Jerry are invited to a visitation on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:30AM-1:30 PM at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, PA 18064. A Prayer Service will follow at 1:30 PM in the funeral home presided by Pastor Mike Yaworski. Burial will take place at Belfast Union Cemetery, of Stockertown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to "Belfast Bible Church" and mailed to: 483 Belfast Rd, Nazareth, PA 18064. Jerry and I were teenagers when we met. He was like a brother to me and a great friend. I watch He and his family get started from day one. Today I was at His visitation and saw how beautiful His family has grown and become. I know you are in a good place now and I'm not too far behind you. Rest in peace my friend.
