Kenneth Lance

Kenneth R. Lance, 82, of Bangor, PA, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 4th, 2025.
Born on February 10, 1943, in Easton, PA, Kenneth was the son of the late George and Mary C. (Bowlby) Lance. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret E. Lance, who passed away in 2023.
Kenneth was a dedicated worker, having been employed as a Concrete Truck Driver for Hunterdon Concrete in Hunterdon, NJ, until his retirement. Prior to this, he owned and operated the Lance family farm in Earlville, NY, from 1973 to 1980. A 1961 graduate of Washington High School in Washington, NJ, Kenneth was also a member of the Blue Mountain Antique Gas and Steam Engine Association at Jacktown and enjoyed restoring antique farm tractors.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine M. Miller, wife of Kenneth, and his son, Kenneth "Butch" Lance. Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Barbara Hoff, five grandchildren, Amy Hadaway, wife of Dan, Travis Miller, husband of Melissa, Cody and Dylan Mettler, and Zac Lance and his companion Kristi Dickison, as well as six great-grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Hadaway, Wesley and Emmitt Miller, Jacob Lance, and Grant Dickison. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Tracy Lance, and his brother, George 'Jake' Lance.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 10th, at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday, September 10th, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at North Bangor Cemetery in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., PA.
