Paul Bartholomew Obituary
Paul D. Bartholomew Jr., 64, of Nazareth, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, May 6, 2023, in his home. Born November 18, 1958, in Easton, he was a son of the late Paul D. Sr. and Elizabeth M. (White) Bartholomew.
Paul was a graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 1976 and attended the Career Institute of Technology. He was employed as a foreman for Cera-Met Metal Fabricators in Bethlehem and later worked for East Penn Sanitation. He enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR, WWE and the Three Stooges and listening to the Beatles and rock and roll.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Tatamy, the American Legion and the Nazareth Jacksonian Club, where he was a member of the pool league.
Paul is survived by 2 daughters, Jennifer McDonald and her fiance Jason Newell, and Jessica Beitler; grandchildren, Zackery Bartholomew, Harley McDonald, Guage Tuma, Leelah and Nicholas Beitler; and great-grandchildren, Ezra Bartholomew and Quinn Tuma as well as 1 brother, George Bartholomew and his wife Jan, and 1 sister, Marie Scott and her husband Curtis.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, May 10, from 10-11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. A private burial will take place at Forks Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at schmidtfuneralhomepc.com.

Oh, Mr. Paulie Man... What a great friend you were to me. When my life got tough, you offered an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and words of encouragement. You always wanted the best for me, and I thank you for the unconditional love you showed me over the years. Rest in Peace my friend, you will be missed.

I know I´d known you for years, but it seems like we only had days. You never failed to bring a smile onto anyone´s faces, even on the worst of days. You were an amazing grandfather to Zack, and even more amazing great grandfather to Ezra. He loves you so so much. I´m sorry that we weren´t with you, but I know you´re okay now. You were such a special person, such a great friend. We will miss you every single day, and I can only hope to do what you asked of me; to keep Zack out of trouble, and to raise Ezra into a good man. I´ll stick to my promise to you. I love you, Old Man. Forever and always. Rest easy.
