CARTAWISSA Scott J Smith, 37, of Cartawissa passed away unexpectedly October 13 2021 from a motor vehicle accident. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Linda M. Smith and the late Delbert E.D. Smith. He attended Easton High School and was a graduate of Hunterdon County Poly Technical College, New Jersey earning a diploma in Plumbing and Heating. After, completing the licensing requirements, he owned and operated Scott J Smith Plumbing and Heating in the greater Lehigh Valley area. He was a longtime member of the Harwood Volunteer Fire Company, Hazle Township. He was an avid outdoors-man enjoying hiking, camping, and off roading in his Ford vehicles. He especially loved spending time in the Tennessee Smokey Mountains. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert E.D. Smith. He will be sadly missed by his fiance, Nichole Earnhart , daughter, Eleanor, mother, Linda Smith, brother, Shawn, nephew Harold, aunt and uncle, Ellen and Joseph Hudak and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19 2021 at 9:30 AM from the Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, 617 Carey Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St Andre Bessette Church, 668 North Main Street Wilkes-Barre.
