PALMER TOWNSHIP Veronica A. "Roni" Fisher, 82, of Palmer Township, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospice House. Born February 14, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Bernado and Frances (Moneuse) Parola. She and her husband, John W. "Jack" Fisher, Jr., celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on March 14, 2021. Roni was a 1957 graduate of Easton High School. She retired from Easton Hospital where she was a nurse's aide. Years ago, she worked at the former Rudolph's Pocketbook Factory. Roni enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, sewing and jewelry making. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Farmersville. She was a former member of Suburban Rescue Squad. In addition to her husband, Jack, she is survived by two sons, Gary and Michael Bruneio, both of Easton; four step-daughters, Sue Sos and her husband Jim, of Easton, Diane McGowan and her husband Michael, of Nazareth, Sally Lusk and her husband Frank, of North Carolina, and Karen Fegely and her husband Keith, of Northampton; a sister, Gloria Negrette, of Bethlehem Township; two grandsons, Evan and Ryan Bruneio; ten step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Collette and Maureen. She was predeceased by a brother, Carlo Parola, and a brother-in-law, Ralph Negrette. Services will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 12:30-1:30pm in the funeral home. Masks preferred but not required. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com. Roni was "My Sunshine" as I called, always brightened my day when I would be with her. She is very much missed. We always had great talks, fun, and tv time together. I'll miss her joking around and her smile. My heartfelt condolences to Roni's family.

Aunt Roni was an amazing lady, always sweet, kind and a beautiful person. Whenever we saw her she gave amazing hugs and always said the sweetest things. We will always love you! Our hearts go out to her family

I am so saddened to see Roni had passed. Roni was such a beautiful person who I enjoyed talking to we shared many good laughs together and watching Hallmark Movies. My condolences and prayers to the family.
