LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ Victor Dudas, 85, of Lopatcong Township passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 12, 1936 in Papa, Hungary a son of the late Joseph and Teresa (Kadi) Dudas.Victor and his wife, Ethel (Baka) Dudas were married October 26, 1968 and he was very much looking forward to celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary next week. Before retirement Victor was employed by Ingersoll Rand for 41 years as a bench grinder. He loved gardening, bird watching, nature walks with his wife and playing cards with his brothers, sisters and nephew. He also loved spending time with his extended family. Additionally he really enjoyed watching all sports and was a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg. In addition to his wife, Ethel, he is survived by a daughter Victoria Dudas; a son Frank (significant other, Taffy); two brothers Joseph and Laslo; a sister Margaret Biro; sister-in-law Julianna Dudas; two grandchildren Ryan (girlfriend, Naysha) and Allison Dudas; a great-grandson Mason; and many nieces and nephews in the USA and Hungary. He is predeceased by brothers Steven and Frank; and sisters Anna Ubitz, Teresa Molnar and Julianna Gipp. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10 to 11 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Phillipsburg, NJ followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Holy Apostles Mausoleum in Greenwich Township.
