Back in 1978 when my family and I moved to south high st in East Bangor Carol volunteered Walt to help us move. He didn´t know us from Adam but on moving day Walt was there helping us move. I learned very quickly that that was the kind of person Walt was. I never forgot his kindness to us on that busy day. Love and peace to the whole family. Rest In Peace Walt, your work is done.

Carol, Lee, Tim, Scott and families: Our sincere condolences go out to you in your time of loss. Walt was a man to look up to. His dedication to service was never ending and his energy non stop. A man who could always be counted on in a time of need. I called on him many times to help with doing the chains at the Bangor football games and he always said yes. He was a true fan, not only of the Slaters but also to his beloved Red Rovers. This was a man who truly will be missed. I am sure his heavenly reunion with Todd was a great celebration. Take comfort in knowing Walt is now experiencing what we can only read about.
