NAZARETH William V. Corey, 60, of Nazareth, PA, formerly of Wallingford, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in his home. He was the loving husband of Denise (Dorsey) Corey. They celebrated 36 years of marriage on October 12th. Bill was born on December 10, 1960 in Darby, PA. He was born one of seven children to the late Francis Corey and Irene (Vaughn) Corey. Bill graduated from Nether Providence High School, Class of 1979, and West Chester University, Class of 1983. Bill was the Managing Director of the Grocery Division of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies (formerly Valley Pet) for the past 11 years. Prior to Phillips, Bill spent 23 years at M&M Mars, where he was a National Sales Manager. Bill was a lifelong learner, and at age 56, obtained his license in Massage Therapy. He practiced medical massage therapy in the evenings and weekends at Augello Chiropractic. Bill was a devout Catholic and attended mass every Sunday. He was a dedicated family man who adored his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family at their shore house in Sea Isle City, NJ. He loved to cook, especially Sunday dinners for his family. An avid walker, Bill could often be seen walking with his beloved dog Bruno. He loved to end his day with a good cigar, gin and tonic, and conversation. Bill is survived by his mother and siblings, his wife, and his three daughters: Jacquie Cox, her husband Josh, and their two children Oliver and Brooke; Brittany Herrold, her husband Greg, and their son Graham; and Lexie Mengle, her husband Forrest, and their two daughters Caroline and Campbell. Bill will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, and truly left the world a better place than he found it. Family and friends of Bill are invited to a visitation on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5 - 8 PM at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, PA 18064. So sorry for your loss... our thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Bill for years at M&M Mars, and more recently appreciated his support for our Mars Fishcare business in his role with Phillips. He was a good man and will be missed by all.
