Gary Green Obituary
Mr. Gary Lyvon Green, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years old.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Eufaula Church of God with Pastor Chris Sowell officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: Eufaula Church of God- 4097 Highway 431 South Eufaula, Alabama 36027.
Gary was born February 3, 1952, in Troy, Alabama to the late Grover Green and Pearl Carroll Green. He loved his family and spending time with them. Gary was a great outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a Boy Scout leader. He worked in construction as a carpenter until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Cleveland Greene and Charlie Greene; two sisters, Virginia Faircloth and Martha Braswell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Joan Annette Grantham Green; son, Israel Green (Angie) of Baker Hill; Carolyn Thrasher of Abbeville; brother, Johnny Greene of Eufaula; two sisters, Donna Green of Eufaula and Lavonia Guy of Eufaula; six grandchildren, Brent Warr (Amanda), Kamron Palmer, Jack Thrasher, Selena Thrasher, Makaila Green, and Lexie Green; five great-grandchildren, Gavin Warr, Noah Warr, Braxton Ogletree, Octavia Cowart, and Rohin Cowart.

So sorry to hear about Gary. Just ask his granddaughter about Him and Joan. He worked many a day with William in construction. They always had a good time and good memories. Your in my thoughts and prayers.
