Dear Uncle Alvin,
You are an amazing person, the patriarch of our family. You have inspired and taught us to live, love and laugh. You have lived an honorable life full of charity. You have loved your family and friends with all of your being. I will always cherish the fact that you took the time to make each and every person feel special down to the smallest member of our family. And your laugh was contagious and would spread throughout a crowd. You will be greatly missed. We love you.

Joyce thank you for making Alvin's short life a happy one. Our prayer and thoughts are with you and the family always. I'm sitting here watching the curser flash on the screen trying to put into words the flood of thoughts and sorrow that I'm occupied with at the moment. Big Al is a cornerstone in my memories of growing up in Littlestown. I've been around the world and back since I've left home... Mr. Unger is still one of the kindest, funniest, warmest persons I've had the pleasure of knowing.

So remembering Al from security and Fire Police. He was a great friend to all. He stuck up for me once when it counted the most and I'm grateful. I will always remember laughing so much and having fun around him. School activities (security) were the best fun. Never a dull momment.
