A year has passed and not a day goes by that Andrew is not in my thoughts. I see his picture on my wall every day when I wake up in the morning and every night at bedtime. I want to let all of you know how much you are in my thoughts. I miss Andrew!

I am so sorry to hear of Andy's death. I went to school with Andy and he was such a wonderful person. I did not have that much contact with him after high school except when I would see him at Hoss's. His life was so short and he will be missed.

Dear Rexroth and Cleaver Families:
We offer our prayers of comfort and support to all of you. We did not know Andy, but were friends with his grandparents (Patsy & Chet). John's grandmother once told us, no one should have to bury their children. This is also true for grandchildren.
As each day passes, try to remember one happy time with Andy.

I only met Andy a few times--my husband and I became friends with him this summer through my cousin, Mike-one of his best friends. I have some great memories of him from the short time I knew him and I am terribly sorry for your loss.
He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Mike, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son, Andy...Seth was the only one of your children that I ever met, and that was when he was just a toddler. I know we haven't seen each other in many years, but, you were one of my best friends in high school, and I feel strongly for your loss. Words cannot express the sadness I feel for you. Even tho' I never met Andy, I'm sure that if he was your son, he was a great guy. I'm around, if you need to talk--living in Red Lion again.

To Andrew's Family,
I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without a ghost of a shadow upon it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well.
With love and prayers,
Bob, Vicki & Julie Houseman

I was never that close with Andy. We were friends while we worked together. We talked a lot then, but after we both quit Hoss's life started to get busy and we didn't stay in touch. I really regret that. Not talking to him. I just can't believe he is truly gone. He was always so nice, so funny, so happy. I think I only saw him upset once at work. He always found a way to make me laugh. Andy and I would work on salad bar together and always just have a great time. He would let me squeegee the floor in the back just because he knew it was my favorite part of the job. And we'd eat ice cream out of cups when we would close the salad bar. We'd take a break and get a cup, fill it up with layers of ice cream, fudge, strawberry sauce, etc. I can't say that I'm going to miss him; I already do miss him.
