Anthony G. "Tony" Martinetti, 84, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Hanover Hall. He was the husband of Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Neuhausler) Martinetti.
Born March 9, 1932 in Staten Island, NY, Anthony was the son of the late Anthony and Doris (Kepler) Martignetti and his late step-father Leo DeClerico.
Mr. Martinetti served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed by the City of New York for more than 30 years.
Tony enjoyed doing puzzle books and especially liked going on cruises.
Mr. Martinetti is survived by his son, Anthony "Tony" Martinetti and his wife, Cheryl of Hanover; his two grandchildren who knew him as "Popo", Chad M. Hoover and his wife, Sarah of Bel Air, MD and Kelly A. Blizzard and her husband, Lucas of York; six great-grandchildren, Jonah and Hayden Blizzard, Peyton and Logan Hoover, Michael Nesline and Brayden Wildasin; and his sister, Regina DeClerico of Jackson, N.J.
Services are private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. To share memories of Anthony please visit
