Dear family of Clyde,
I helped to care for Clyde at Utz. Terrace. A special memory I have is going into his room in the morning to give him his meds and then telling him that he could go to breakfast. He would tell me that he worked on a farm and he got up early and needed to eat a good breakfast to go out to work hard. (My impression was that he was referring to his early years.) I would agree about eating a good breakfast so you could work hard and he would smile and give a little laugh. When I would mention at different times about him eating his farmer's meal he would agree and give that smile. It was a way that I could connect with him. I liked his little laugh. I will miss Clyde. I am praying for you all that God will be with you and give you strength at this painful time in your lives. I was really impressed with the way you cared for your dad. You called in to check on him and you were there for him to the end. You sat with him holding his hand, putting your hand on his shoulder and talking to him. He knew. God bless you
