Dear Family,
We were so saddened to hear about your loved one. We remember Edra from our former business. (The Rusty Naill in Hanover). She was a special customer who was friendly and you could tell loved her family so very much. We remember her wanting to have matching Christmas Stockings as each new grandchild came along and how appreciative she was when that got accomplished. She was a dear and neat lady. Our condolences.

Leonard, Chris, Laura, I Just thought of something that will always remind me of your mother/wife. When I moved up to Jr High football from Elementary football I was disappointted when they didn't have Orange Slices at Halftime of the games...it was at that time I realize that Orange Slices were not a regular part of every football game and that it was Edra who made them for us in Elementary football...Laura I thought of that story today when you mentioned the Orange Slices....you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It is a shame she had to leave so soon. But she surely made full use of her time on earth, didnt she? As we have read her community and school awards attest to that.
Along with that we must mention her pride in her family-children and grand children.
All the games and programs she went to surely will be remembered by all the family members. And all the great meals she planned and made will be part of the memories.
There is on thing I know about Ed. Once she gets settled in heaven she won't be sitting on a cloud twiddling her thumbs. No, not Ed. Instead she will be looking around to see how she can get involved with chrildren- yound and old ( like she did here). Maybe reading a book to a small angel or teaching the angel to throw a ball or shoot a hoop. She will always be busy.
But her prime concern will remain her family. She will be looking in on them for the rest of ther lives. That is a "given".
From Kay her teacher, her coach and her friend

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot eat away peace,
It cannot destroy confidence,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot shutout memories,
It cannot silence courge,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot reduce eternal LIFE,
It cannot quench the SPRIT,
It cannot lesson the power of the
RESSURRECTION !
