Helen E. Rosenbaum

Littlestown - Helen E. Rosenbaum, 101, formerly of Littlestown and McSherrystown, died Saturday, Sept 1, at The Gettysburg Center. She was the widow of Philip Rosenbaum. Born December 26, 1916 in Carroll County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Mary E. (Krumrine) Eckard. Helen was a high school graduate and was a graduate of nursing school. She was a registered nurse for Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr and Women's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Helen is survived by her daughter Joyce E. Bezold and husband, Charles, of Hanover; her 6 granddaughters, 12 great grandchildren, her 8 great great granddaughters; her brother Norman C. Eckard of Mt. Wolf and her sister Sylvia Ann Lee of Springfield, MO. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth Eckard and 3 sisters and brothers. Helen loved playing bingo.

Funeral Service is Thursday, Sept 6, at 11:30 A.M.at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Dan Thomas of Hanover First Church of God officiating. Viewing is one hour prior to service time on Thursday. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Littlestown. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to the charity of one's choice. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
