HANOVER Jeremy E. Rummel, 23, entered into God's eternal care Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Born July 27, 1988, in Hanover, he was the son of Terry E. and Chiara (Spencer) Rummel of Hanover. Jeremy was a certified welder and had worked for Kinsley Construction. Jeremy enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a Christian, loved nature, the outdoors, and was quite an artist. In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by one daughter, Madison Rummel; two brothers, Cydak Spencer and Korbin Rummel, both of Hanover; two sisters, Ariel Rummel of Hanover and Cassandra Wible of Glassboro, N.J.; his grandfather, Terry W. Rummel of New Oxford; his grandmother, Delores (Bartram) McIntyre of East Berlin; and his girlfriend, Courtney Kraft. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Jeremy's life will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Terry jr. & Family, No words could fill the empty void that has been left in your hearts since the passing of Jeremy but for what little encouragement or blessing they might be, we just want to say, "we're sorry! Lean hard on the Word of God and cling to His promises! They truly are the only place that we will find peace, rest and HOPE! I have known my brother for many years.. He was the kinda guy that always kept you smiling even when your having a bad day. I cannot explain how I feel.. Keep me a spot up there and I will be home soon enough. I want you to know that you brought alot people together and now your not here to be with us.. I love you and gonna miss you. I knew Jeremy as a Boy Scout. He always had a great sense of humor, was full of energy and loved the outdoors. I can not describe my sadness when I learned of Jeremy's death. To loose someone so young and with so much potential is very difficult for those of us left behind to understand. Rest in peace Jeremy. As one of my scouts, you will always hold a special place in my heart.

when i recieved the news i was blown away, my heart dropped from my chest. tears engulfed my eyes, an sadness stood all around me. i closed my eyes an said a prayer. when i opened my eyes, an seen a single ray of sunshine peek through the rainy cloudy sky. it was then i knew you have reached a better place. jeremy ill never forget the day we met. you were passing by an seen me working on my truck an offered help. an from that day one a great friendship endured. you were there with me when i lost my dad, an helped me stay strong. wish i could have been there for you buddy. you were a strong, funny, adventurous, kind, caring gentleman. you will forever live in my heart bud, gonna miss you. my prayers an thoughts go out to your family an big group of friends.
