Mark was a very good friend of mine. He helped to build a free clinc for the medically uninsured here in Columbia. We spent most of the previous week building this clinic before his untimely death. Ironically the Hope Within clinic opened a few days after my dear friend's death.
I will alway remember Mark and his friends a fun loving and hard working. Why must a segment of our society live in isolation because of our lack of understanding and shortfalls in our way of doing life?
We prayed together and belived for a better future. May your soul rest in peace.

In deepest sympathy for your loss of Mark, a prayer:
Lod God, we have given Mark to your care and mercy. Be now with his family and friends as they grieve him and live with the void caused by his loss. Work with us, O God, to count every day our blessings and to be a blessing to others. Amen.

I was always there for Mark. He was fun to be around and always there to make me laugh.I was looking forward to spend time with him this summer at the river. Catching big catfish and just hanging out. I will miss him every day. My sadness is deep but i know he is a child of GOD and he is in peace now. So young man you rest in peace.I will see you soon. We have a special bond that only our GOD and myself will ever know. My deepest sympathies to all of his family. Your caring friend JIM.

Our Columbia community is saddened deeply by Mark's loss. We have been mourning and coping with loosing his bright smile and eagerness to work. He was a great guy with a lot of compassion and a sense of humor. He was a hard worker and impressed those he worked for. I got to see his work rebuilding/finishing a home and I too was greatly impressed, had been considering hiring him for some repair work. I am so sorry for the pain you are facing in this loss. Although Mark's bright smile, his light was extinguished too early, it is my hope that through others who knew him and loved him; prayed with him and worked with him; his light may go further into the world by how his life touched us! Our church; Salem United Church in Columbia will be saying a special prayer for you tomorrow in service. You are welcome to join us for hugs and a few Mark stories: service is at 10:30 am.

My sympathies to all of Mark's family. I was very fond of him when I knew him as a kid. I can picture his brown hair, freckles, and mischiveous smile. My heart goes out to all of you and I'm sorry you have to go through the pain of losing him. Kim(Reed)Craft
