Mark E. Redding

LITTLESTOWN Mark E. Redding, 77, died Tuesday evening, February 20, 2007, at Dove House Hospice of Westminster, Md. He was the husband of Helen (Utz) Redding. His first wife, W. Dolores (Dayhoff) Redding, died in 1998. Born February 16, 1930, in Littlestown, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Laura (Eckenrode) Redding. Mr. Redding was a Littlestown High School graduate. He served in the army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Panama. He retired from Chilton Corporation as an independent distributor. Mr. Redding was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, V.F.W., and Fish and Game, all of Littlestown, and of the National NRA. In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by a daughter and sonin-law, Cathy and Marty Storm of Irishtown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Iris Redding of Norfolk, Va., and Michael and Sharon Redding of Pottstown; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and William Bihler of Bradley, W.Va., and Karen and William White of Gambrills, Md.; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth Stuller of Hanover. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bernard and Bud Stuller; and a sister, Ethel Orndorff. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown, with the Rev. James M. Sterner as Celebrant. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, with prayers to be recited at 8:30 p.m. Interment will be in The Parish Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Littlestown Allied Veterans Council.
