Marlyn L. Beck Jr.

YORK Marlyn L. Beck, Jr., 43, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at York Hospital. Born on March 19, 1967, in Ontario, California, he was a son of Marlyn L. Beck, Sr. of Hanover and the late Angela 'Jill' Stull Beck. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Timmy. A graduate of Montclair High School in California, he was employed for the last twelve years by Harley Davidson Motor Company in York. He enjoyed fishing and boating and working on street cars. In addition to his father, he is survived by his girlfriend, Teresa Kasten; a daughter, Hope Elizabeth Beck; a son, Leon Vincent Beck, all of York; and a sister, Tamara Laughman and her husband, Kip of New Oxford. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Joseph Gotwalt officiating. Burial will be private.
