GLENVILLE Monica Schmeyer was a kind and generous person who understood what it meant to truly love her family, community, and country. A quiet exterior concealed a passionate heart that was unafraid to do what was necessary and right in her life. In times of need, she was absolutely trustworthy and dependable, and her admirable inner strength was firmly rooted in her faith in God: "Jesus, I trust in you." Monica attended St. Vincent de Paul Church and St. Joseph's Church. She volunteered performing extraordinary ministry for people who could not leave their home to receive communion. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Veronica and Elsa; and her Pembroke Corgi, Nipper.
