Nancy was born May 1, 1941 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late John H. and Miriam A. (Dittus) Eby. Nancy was a retired registered nurse who worked for the Conewago Valley School District, where she was always able to provide love and care for all the children who became part of her life. She was also retired from Hanover Hospital where she worked in the emergency room, critical care, and rode the Coronary 46 "the van" and then later the first Medic 46 for the Hanover area. She was a loving grandmother of four grandsons, Tyler Fields, Cameron Fields, Jacob Ramsey and Cole Ramsey. She is also survived by two sisters, Wanda McMahon and Janie Spicer; and a brother, John H. Kim, Jonathan and family,
Nancy blessed us all with her presence and involvement in so many activities, adventures, career and smile. She has been a fabulous role model to many in New Oxford. She gave of herself freely as a girl scout leader, school nurse, nurse on the Coronary Van, band mom and the list goes on. Ramsey family, thank you for sharing her with all of us. Nancy I am sure God has blessed you with your reward in Heaven, for he certainly blessed us with you here on Earth!

To Nancy's family,
We were saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. Ross has many fond memories of her as a coworker in Hanover Hospital's ER. We still talk about sharing a table with your parents at a hospital Christmas party and how much we laughed that night.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.

Nancy used to attend NOHS band trips and on one occasion I had forgotten my uniform skirt. She helped search local shops for a black skirt, stripped the stripes off a pair of pants and pinned them around the bottom of that skirt. On graduation your mother presented me with that skirt; I still have it and when I see it I think of her and that day.

Thank you Nancy for being such a wonderful and loving person. Rest in peace.

Will always remember Nancy's generous compassion to both the students and faculty alike. She illustrated her loving heart in her work and demonstrated the ideals of the nursing profession by her work.

To the entire Ramsey family, my deepest condolences. Nancy and I met during our nursing school days. Our paths continued side by side when I married your dad's brother. Many memories were made. You each have memories to cherish and share as time continues. Her family was so important as you well know. Her grandsons were very important to her. What a legacy she has left. Hugs and love to each of you. Aunt Bernie

I am very glad to say I knew and worked with Nurse Nancy and that our paths crossed several times. I first met her when I was a third party on Coronary 46. She was always very composed and if a patient became critical she would become more concerned, but in complete control. In later years I was kept informed of her travels and enjoyment with grandchildren by her lovely daughter Kim, who I would see once each year at the childcare facility. In recent years I had the opportunity to talk with Nancy at Rosie's restaurant in New Oxford. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
