McSherrystown - Paul H. Krepps Jr. "Snag", age 95, of McSherrystown, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Hanover Hall in Hanover. He was the loving husband of Shirley M. (Reindollar) Krepps; together they shared over 74 years of marriage.

Paul was born in McSherrystown on, December 23, 1925, and was the son of the late Paul H. Krepps Sr. and Dorothy M. (Willet) Krepps. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. He worked as a traffic manager for Hanover Shoe Co. for over 25 years and also for Lee Metals for another 25 years prior to retiring. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover, the McSherrystown Knights of Columbus, the McSherrystown Moose, the VFW and American Legion in Hanover.

In addition to his wife Shirley, he is survived by his children Cynthia Long and her husband Ronald of McSherrystown, Patricia Franklin of Hanover, Sandra Ludman and her husband John of California and Jeffrey Krepps and his wife Melissa of Hanover; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Loyola "Jack" Krepps and Francis Krepps; his sister Dorothy Sabold and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Leon Krepps and his sister Elizabeth Badrick.

Following cremation, a memorial service in celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 11:00AM, at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown PA 17344 with Deacon Tom Aumen officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family at a future date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00AM - 11:00 AM.
