Happy is the person who finds their calling at some point in their life. A few people fulfill their calling well. Fewer still are those who know their calling as a young person and endeavor their entire lives fulfilling it. Ever since I can remember as we grew up in the Penn Street and George Street area, Randy wanted to become a policeman. None us in the neighborhood gang knew with how much passion, integrity, and completeness that Randy would find and fulfill his special call. How many people has Randy protected, assisted, corrected, and inspired. Its now time to rest and enjoy what heaven has prepared. Rest in peace my friend.

Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. When I look at the night sky, it will be nice to know that Randy is shining down on us.

Jean
I am so sorry to hear about Randy. You are in my prayers and thoughts these last few days. I always remembered how kind he was when we were going to school with the challenges we faced, especially when we were preparing to take our boards. You might have forgotten but I never did- he offered to pay for my overnight stay at the motel because of my finical burden at the time. That's the kindness he always showed. May you get through this difficult time in the remembrance of you 34 years of sharing. Call if you need anything. Love sent your way Gina
