Tammy Flint Obituary
Born in Hornell, Dec. 19, 1960, the daughter of Elijah and Barbara (Kull) Flint, she had resided in the Hornell area most of her life except for a brief period of time when she lived in Rochester and the Farmington area. Tammy was a graduate of the Hornell High School, Class of 1979. After high school she attended Nazareth College and Wilma Boyd Travel School, she then moved to Canisteo and owned and operated Tammy's Travel Agency.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Walter and Leah Kull; her paternal grandparents, Earl and Marie Flint; as well as several aunts and uncles and her beloved dog, Nella Bean.
She is survived by her parents, Elijah "Red" and Barbara Flint of Hornell; a daughter, Sadie Flint Bouman of Hornell; a half-brother, Richard Flint of Pennsylvania; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday (Dec. 26, 2016) from 4-7 p.m. , at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2016) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 27 Erie Ave., Hornell, N.Y., 14843. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may make memorial contributions to: The Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC, 20037; or to the Hornell Area Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, N.Y., 14843.

Red, Barbara n Sadie my heart is breaking for All of you with the Loss of your beautiful daughter n Mother. Tammy was so Blest to be surrounded by such a devout and loving family. Hopefully you can fine Solace in knowing she is no longer in pain or suffering. My condolences to the family of Tammy. I remember when I was a young girl and looking up to her as a teenager and thinking she was one of the coolest girls! I remember her being full of life and nice to a little snot like me. She was a great cheerleader!
