Mr. Benny Lee Schultz, 71, of Bartlesville, died at 12:04 A.M. on Monday June 17, 2013.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday June 21, 2013, at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, at Ft. Gibson Oklahoma, with Chaplain Steven Griffith of the Cornerstone Hospice officiating. Graveside Services and interment are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Schultz will be available for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday and Thursday.
Full Military honors will be presented at the graveside by the members of the Muskogee American Legion Post #15 of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartlesville American Legion James H. Teel Post # 105, 501 N.E. Washington Blvd. Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.
Mr. Schultz was born August 26, 1941 at Houston, Texas to Adolf and Josie Schultz. He was raised and received his education at Houston. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in October of 1966 serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and two deployments in Germany until his honorable discharge in 1972, later serving in the Army Reserve for a total of 11 years of service. He was self employed as a framing carpenter for several building and construction companies, working for Mueller Construction for most of his career, retiring in 2007. His hobbies were fishing and camping, and vegetable gardening. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sealy, Texas where he was baptized.
