Elizabeth Dell "Libby" Golbach, 79, died peacefully at her home on Friday, December 6, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Disciples Christian Church, with Dr. Bill Inglish officiating. Memorial services and cremation will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.

Elizabeth Dell Dickson was born June 30, 1934 in Beaumont, Texas, to Horace Edward and Augusta Vydelle (Clay) Dickson. She grew up and received her education in Beaumont, graduating high school there in 1952. She attended Lamar State College of Technology, where she belonged to Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and graduated in 1956 with a bachelor's degree in commercial art and education. She taught art at Fletcher Elementary in Beaumont (the school she had attended as a girl) and at Travis Elementary in Odessa. Libby married John Bernard Golbach, Jr., on June 8, 1957 at the Washington Boulevard Christian Church in Beaumont. The couple lived in Odessa, Texas, from 1957 to 1964, moving to Bartlesville in the spring of 1964. For her artwork she was nationally recognized by Miniature Artists of America, and won awards in juried competitions in several states. She regularly showed and sold her paintings in local and national galleries, including Talisman Gallery in Bartlesville for over forty years and most recently in galleries in Taos and Chimayo, New Mexico. Libby was the owner of the Silk Purse Art Studio in downtown Bartlesville. She attended Disciples Christian Church; belonged to the Bartlesville Art Association, to Allied Arts and Humanities, and to the Spanish Colonial Art Society; and served as a volunteer with the Price Tower.
Libby is survived by her son John Dickson Golbach and his wife Patricia Chilsen of New York City, New York; her son Edward Kirkland Golbach and his wife Cindy of Leawood, Kansas; her daughter Catherine Clay "Cat" Moore and her husband Rick of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and five grandchildren: Allison Paige Golbach, Samuel John Golbach, Benjamin David Golbach, Freyja Chilsen Golbach, and David Harley Moore. Libby is also survived by special friends and chosen sisters, Patricia Morgan and Colleen Blackwell of Bartlesville and Ann Bogle of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Edward Eugene Dickson, and her sister Dixie Hale.
