John Michael Sanders

1985 - 2016

John Michael Sanders, 30 of White Bear Lake, MN, was born August 7, 1985 to John and Geri (Duffy) Sanders at Tinker AFB, OK and peacefully left this world on April 2, 2016 with his family by his side. At age 2, John and his family relocated from Tinker AFB in Oklahoma to Soesterberg AB, The Netherlands, where he attended his first year of school in the Dutch education system until openings were available at the school on the base. In early 1991 he returned to the United States with his Mother, sister and brother and relocated to White Bear Lake, Minnesota. After high school, John moved to Dewey, Oklahoma where he lived with his Dad and Step-Mom until he returned to White Bear Lake and remained here until he ventured on to heaven
John is survived by his Mother Geri (Duffy) Sanders of White Bear Lake, and John and Brenda Sanders of Bartlesville, OK, 1-month old son William J., 17-month old son Rilley J., 3-1/2-year-old Emma L McCallister, girlfriend Jessica Meyers, his older sister, Lisa M. (Sanders) Sweeney, husband John F Sweeney, with daughter Zoey, younger brother Jerome D. Sanders, wife Emily and step-daughter Ashlynn, step-sister, Tara R. (Rogers) Eulitt, husband David Eulitt, with sons Wyatt, Ty, Dalton, and Jax, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. John graduated from White Bear High School in 2004. He completed several courses at Century College in Computer Science. He was really great at working on cars, computer systems and gaming. He was a passionate cook, comedian, and a real "jack-of-all trades". John has always enjoyed helping others no matter the circumstances, and his last act of helping others was in the donation of his organs; thereby allowing three different individuals to continue on with their lives; his remaining organs were donated to research in hopes of saving others later on.
Memorial Mass Thursday at 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN with visitation one hour before Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
