From Rick and Mary Folchert, Gunnison, CO. Dear Polly and Corb and family, May the whisper of the Angels' wings comfort you and bring peace in your hearts. Johnny was one of the first gentlemen and politicians I met during my teaching tenure at GHS 1973-2004 and was privileged to work with him during his campaigns. When we discussed educational issues, Johnny would say, "If its not good for kids Rick, then it's not worth discussing!", and thats where we agreed without any more said. Mary and I had the privilege of chatting with him on our Anniversary in early December while at dinner, and I heard this voice, "thats gotta be Rick, I'd know that voice anywhere. So many memories, and all good, so we grieve with all of you, as does most of Gunnison and may God Bless You! Rick and Mary
