Lolita Needham Obituary

Lolita G. Needham, 80, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby, Ohio. She was born on April 21, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Robert F. Martin and Helen (Wolford) Martin.
Lolita was raised and received her education in Chicago, IL. She married Donald G. Needham on June 30, 1956 in Grove, OK. They moved to Bartlesville, OK in 1956, then moved to a small farm in Ramona, OK in 1960. Lolita lived there until her illness forced her to move to Ohio in 2009. She loved the outdoors, any animal and the country life. She raised their children and worked maintaining the farm. She volunteered weekly, for many years, at the Bartlesville SPCA.
She is survived by her daughter, Jolita Davis of Conroe, TX; her son, Edward (Bev) Needham of Lexington, OH; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Martin; half-brothers, Matt (Carolyn) Martin and Burke (Lynne) Martin; sisters, Joan Goodman and Margery Martin; half-sisters, Sue (Mike) Rathbone and Maija Derue; numerous other relatives; and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Needham; step-mother, Florence (Kulie) Martin; sister, Judith Martin; and son-in-law, Clifford Davis.
At this time there will be no services observed. The Ontario, Ohio Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Lolita Needham.
